Target Goals of The Arts and Cultural Highway

The Arts and Cultural Highway A catalyst for change in the transition from resource-based economies to the arts and a modern day cultural Renaissance.

Societies are always in transition, but occasionally the changes around us signal an evolution in thought, something that awakens a new spirit of co-operation and enthusiasm.

When the information age was characterized as the "information highway" it was no accident that it quickly took hold of the public's imagination. It was timely, succinct and sparked a world-wide phenomenon of electronic networking.

Now it has become our objective to establish a new brand name, specifically, in the global market place of arts and tourism. This could not come at a better time, as better availability of airline tickets and travel to a wider demographic means more holidays, more visitors, and more tourism.

Started in British Columbia, Canada, the Arts Highway presents and explores innovative strategies for marketing creative talents.

This Arts & Cultural Highway is designed to be a cultural network of artisans and appreciators of the arts. A place to meet in a 3d immersive environment, providing a catalyst to link a global network of artisans and commerce.

Through this kind of mutually supportive network the Arts Highway seeks to provide a venue for independent initiatives and ideas for marketing ones work within 3D virtual worlds in a modern day cultural Renaissance.

The challenge and goal of the Arts Highway is to establish yet another mutually beneficial connection between the artist and the people who love their art.

It is hoped that this Arts Highway concept can help facilitate and bridge the gap between just passively viewing the 2D web and actively interacting within a 3D web-based reality.
